You have lots of great advice here on how to be a certain kind of writer. The world of publishing is changing fast, as you no doubt know. The intersting thing to me is that it doesn't seem to be changing as fast as the world of reading. More and more people do most of their reading from a screen these days and this changes the dynamic between the reader and writer in many ways, not just the actual process of reading but in the subtle relationship between the writer/character and the reader. I am finding it fascinating to explore. I think of it like a musician or filmmaker thinks of an independant label. People used to queue on the docks for Dickens latest serialisation to arrive. Anyway, thanks for stopping by, and keep up the good work.
