Kurashiki, Okayama: Two boatmen pass the time, because there sure as hell aren’t any tourists to give trips to. That’s the joy of travelling in the off-seasons – not getting crushed, not having to queue, and rarely having to tolerate the screaming of children (who are usually only screaming because they too dislike being crushed and having to queue).
